Iran is continuing its reprisals against the Gulf states and categorically denies that any discussions are currently underway. He added: "Do not attempt to portray your defeat as agreements or negotiations with Tehran. Be aware that you will no longer be able to make a single investment in the region, and that you will never see oil prices return to their previous levels."

Thus, these very firm Iranian stances come in addition to the strikes carried out throughout the night against Israel—as well as against numerous American bases across the region, notably in Jordan, Erbil (Iraqi Kurdistan), Baghdad, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia—as noted by Siavosh Ghazi, RFI’s correspondent in Tehran.
